The Church Van

Recovering beauty, lament, and justice through sacred music and art.

We create sacred spaces through the arts that help the Church recover beauty, justice, and lament so that congregations can move from fear of the world to the fear of the Lord—and live out our greatest commandments to love God and neighbor.

What we do.

The Church Van curates sacred concerts and collaborative arts experiences that edify faith communities through beauty and excellence.

We partner exceptional musicians with churches hungry for a fuller picture of God through sacred themes like lament, justice, and His heart for the vulnerable.

The result? Beauty that deepens faith and often serves those in need.

Why this matters...

Throughout Scripture, God assigns profound significance to beauty. In 2 Chronicles 20, Jehoshaphat sent musicians to the front lines—and the Lord routed the enemy.

Yet many evangelical churches have lost this understanding, trading excellence for utility and lament for sentimentality. Shaped more by cultural fear than by the fear of the Lord, we've forsaken His greatest commandments to love God and love our neighbors.

People are hungry for something deeper. We exist to serve that hunger through sacred concerts that recover beauty, invite lament, and connect faith with God's heart for the vulnerable.

Reviews

  • "Jen is an exceptional musician who knows how to creatively weave together Scripture and music to engage the hearts and minds of listeners. She is thoughtful in her work as she not only entertains, but brings a purpose into her performance that goes beyond the music."

  • Jennifer Stucki's 'Lament' performance is a reflective work of art that brings intentional awareness of the world's pain and suffering to the listener. The music and narration are both sobering and beautiful as they portray human sorrow in a unique way. 'Lament' lends appreciation to silence when music is absent, as it produces an opportunity to meditate and grieve the hurt and disparities we can experience. While this work is somber, the conclusion hints at a window of hope, hope that a broken world can find healing and again made anew. I truly enjoyed the performance.
